KITH - Helping Homeless Families Build Strength and Get a New Start Since 1989.

KITH is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving homeless and at-risk families. Since 1989, KITH has helped homeless families in East King County, by providing transitional and permanent housing, case management and support services which help them move out of homelessness.

In 2013, KITH provided 25,832 bednights for homeless people and 4,609 hours of case management services for 50 families, including 64 children. KITH saw a 100% success rate for families transitioning out of homelessness.

KITH’s Vision: A safe and supportive community where opportunity exists for all families to achieve stable housing and self‑sufficiency.
